La Ribot is a choreographer, dancer, and visual artist.

Her solo and collective performances, installations, films and videos are the many facets of a practice that constantly focuses on the rights of the body. 

From 2002 La Ribot has gained continuous international interest and recognition for her visual art work. Starting with the collaboration with Soledad Lorenzo, one of Spain's most renowned galleries in Madrid, her performative installations, documentary note books, photography and videos have been displayed in a variety of exhibitions, galleries, and museums across the world: Museum Tinguely (Basel), Centro Atlantico de Arte Moderno (Canarias, Spain), Centro Pompidou (Malaga), FRAC Franche-Comté (Besançon, France), MACBA Museu d’Art Contemporani (Barcelona), Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (Madrid), CAC Centre d’Art Contemporain (Geneva), Art Basel & Art Unlimited Basel, Hong Kong Arts Centre, Beirut Art Center (Lebanon), Yo-Chang Art Museum (Taipei), K20 Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen Düsseldorf (Germany), ARTIUM Centro-Museo Vasco de Arte Contemporáneo (Vitoria, Spain), Tate Liverpool (UK), National Museum of Contemporary Art (Seoul, Korea), FRAC-Alsace (Strasbourg, France), Haus der Kunst München (Germany), Hayward Gallery (London), Nam June Paik Art Center (Seoul, Korea), Kunstmuseum Luzern (Switzerland).

A complete of her entire body of work has been displayed up to now at Sala Alcalá 31 (Madrid), Portrait du Festival d’Automne / Centre Pompidou (Paris), Centro Parraga (Murcia) and MUAC (Mexico DF).

La Ribot's works are part of important public and private collections such as Artium, Centro-Museo Vasco de Arte Contemporáneo de Vitoria (País Vasco), Centre National des Arts Plastiques (Paris), Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (Madrid), Centre Pompidou (Paris), MUSAC (León) and Fundacion La Caixa ( Barcelona).

Among other prestigious prizes for her choreographic work, in the field of visual arts, La Ribot has been awarded with the Premio en Artes Plásticas de Comunidad de Madrid, Spain (2018) and the Medalla de Oro al Merito en las Bellas Artes in Spain (2015).
